This takes place from late September to early October. It is such a popular fall festival that millions of people travel to Germany each year for this event. Oktoberfest is celebrated with a lot of beer and Bavarian music.

4. Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, USA
This is one of the largest balloon festivals in the world held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. It usually attracts more than 500 balloons each year.
5. Floating Lantern Festival, Thailand
Also called Loi Krathong, this is a festival celebrated by releasing candles into the rivers and floating lanterns into the sky. It is meant to pay respects to the goddess of water.
